Stereo Explosion bildades 1997 av Jens Andersson , Martin Axén och Jepson . Gruppens livslängd blev dock kort, i och med att alla medlemmar spelade i The Ark som strax efter slog igenom stort, och med det slukade all deras tid.
För några år sedan började dock det gamla bandet sakta men säkert väckas till liv, och trion började arbeta på nytt material.
Stereo Explosion har influerats av allt från mörk disco, hårdrock till synth och psykadelika, blandat med groove och melodiös pop. Ett hopkok av stilar där resultatet alltid blir det samma – ett makalöst sväng.
Idag premiärspelades bandets första singel Now or Forever i Musikguiden i P3, och får här och nu bloggpremiär i Being Blogged!
Singeln släpps den 20:e Januari och album kommer senare i vår.
Stereo Explosion was formed in 1997 by Jens Andersson , Martin Axén and Jepson . The group’s life was short. All the members played in another band called The Ark and shorty after that, the new band became quite successful, and ate all the time from the members.
A few years ago, however, the old band slowly but surely brought back to life, and the trio began working on new material.
Stereo Explosion has been influenced by everything from dark disco, hard rock to synth and psykadelika, mixed with groove and melodic pop. A mishmash of styles in which the outcome is always the same – a stunning pop explosion.
Today, the premiere of the band’s first single, Now or Forever was held in the radio show Musikguiden in P3, and now you’re invited to the blog premiere here in Being Blogged!
The single is released on January 20th and the album will come later this spring.
