Det var 2018 som dansken Northfield släppte debut-EP:n Looking Through The Lens. Nu, två år senare är det dags för artisten att släppa singeln My mind. Här bjuds vi på varm och nostalgisk 80-talspop med mjuka gitarrer och drömliknande synthar. Väldigt skönt och behagligt, samtidigt som det ändå känns medryckande.
”I was part of a class where we wrote songs together and by ourselves and gave each other critic on the things we were writing. I was constantly surrounded by creative people who used these four months being the best version of their creative-self, which was so inspiring
I wrote the majority of My mind in these four month but is was not until I went to New Zealand in the start of 2019, that I finished the puzzle for the song. Because in NZ I was surrounded by such an incredible nature, freewill and time that I got the headspace I needed to write about: Letting go of your thoughts and not think about making the “good impression” all the time”.
