Dags att hitta bra popmusik i staterna igen. De kan ju även skapa bra poplåtar där borta, så det inte bara vi européer som ska ha allt det roliga.
Här kan du lyssna på singeln You without me av den Los Angeles-baserade sångaren Michael Mancuso. En radiovänlig poplåt med strak melodi och refräng, så helt klart något i min smak.
Sångaren berättar:
“I was getting ready to break up with my girlfriend of over 8 years and I was trying to figure out my real reason for ending things. It was more than just the fact that we fought a lot and things like that. We started dating when I was 15 and stayed together until I was 23 and a half. We had spent so much time learning how to be the versions of ourselves that pleased the other person that we had started to forget what made each of us individuals. It took a while for me to break all of the emotions down into words that could be understood outside of my head but, with an invaluable amount of help from Jonny Shorr and Nathan Fertig, You without me was born.”
