Den brittiska sångerskan Ellie Rose är här aktuell med singeln Dancing with an astronaut. En vemodig låt som skapar en filmisk atmosfär som byggs upp av stråkar och nästan slow-motionliknande melodi. Det blir drömliknande och väldigt tilltalande skulle jag säga.
“Dancing with an astronaut is something I wrote one hot afternoon in July on my boyfriends piano, by a window facing the pub he was sitting in. I recorded the demo when I got home with the harmonies sung by my beautiful little sister Lily.
It’s about a night that I danced in a glittery jumpsuit until the earliest hours of the morn- ing, laughed until I cried and blushed as my heart filled with butterflies. That night changed a lot for me, it’s possible that I’ve been on another planet ever since.”
