Den finske producenten Perttu är tillbaka för att ge oss ännu mer av sin dansmusik och följa upp singeln Damage control som släpptes i December.

Nya singeln heter Home och är inspirerad av stunderna när Perttu saknar sitt hem i Helsingfors. Perttu spenderade mycket av somrarna ute på Sveaborg utanför huvudstaden tillsammans med Lxandra som här sjunger på låten. Resultatet är en skönt medryckande poplåt med funkig känsla i melodin som gör det hela väldigt upplyftande måste jag säga.

Om singeln berättar Perttu:

”Home, has a different meaning for us all. For some it can be a specific place, perhaps somebody important, or maybe even a state of mind. But whatever it might be, we all share that same feeling of when from time to time we just wished we were there.

For this song, I wanted to collect different elements that are nostalgic to me. I’ve been playing in bands for my whole life, so I wanted to have that “band feeling” in this song. When I composed the song I thought it would be cool to have all the instruments recorded as if it was performed by a real band. I even asked to some of my old band members Tumppi and Roni to join.

We did the recordings at the legendary studio located on my old home island. It used to be called “Seawolf Studios”, where I used to work when I was younger and where I gained most of my musical knowledge. Since then it has changed owners and been renamed, but Suomenlinnan Studio still holds a special place in my heart.”
