Den danska, Köpenhamn-baserade kvartetten Saint Best har släppt videon till senaste singeln Vincent Bowman, som är tagen från gruppens EP Need You Now. Låten bjuder på poppiga melodier och hittig känsla som bandet beskriver:
”Vincent Bowman is a track about rising to the occasion and believing in own capabilities. The track is inspired by the, for most people, unknown actor Vincent Bowman who never really made it big on the acting scene. As a little Easter egg, theperformance by Vincent Bowman in the movie Mystery Men is sampled in the theme riff of the track.
Vincent is a persona who has given up on himself and who can’t find his way in the world. His life keeps running in the same track and he keeps repeating the same mistakes. The Vincent persona represents a fear of not being able to live up the expectations our self and others set for us. The realization is however, that we must rise to the occasion and take what is ours. This is expressed in the video in the interaction between the two synchronised swimmers, where one of the swimmers constantly tries to make contact to the other swimmer but in vain. It takes a lot to take of the nose clip and dive into the deep water. But as the one swimmer realises that the nose clip is holding her back, the awkwardness is lifted, and the girls start to communicate in an underwater synchronised dance.”
