“Woman of the hour is a song I wrote about a crucial turning point in my life where I learned an unbelievably important lesson. This record is about knowing and owning your worth and empowering yourself, especially as a young woman. I was naïve and allowed negative influences to control my life, and as a result I lost my sense of self and purpose. It took me a really long time to find my way back.
This song is about leaving anything toxic and anything that’s holding you down in the past. Stand up for yourself. Show up for yourself.
As an artist, I feel it’s important to tell my story in hope that others find strength in my vulnerabilities. Woman of The Hour is a record that NEEDS to be heard, for anyone who has been undermined, abused, or taken for granted. I hope this inspires people to be the best version of themselves, and to love themselves enough to speak up and step into the light.”
