Blü Eyes först har redan hörts på singlar av bland annat Colon Callahan och Loving Arms. Nu är det dags för sångerskan från Los Angeles att släppa sin debutsingel.
Friendly fire bjuder på en stark popmelodi och skön rytmisk produktion som jag uppskattade här. Låten är för övrigt producerad av just Colon Callahan.
Sångerskan berättar:
“Friendly fire is a song I wrote about an extremely toxic relationship I was in years ago. It was full of unpredictable, volatile emotions, and endless self-sabotage. In a general sense though, I think the lyrics can also speak to a lot of the unnecessary, prideful hate in the world today. I hope this song can remind people that at the end of the day, we’re all just fighting for the same good in the world.”
