Efter att ha skrivit och producerat åt andra, är det nu dags för Dan Priddy att släppa sin debutsingel som artist. Med artister som Rag’n’Bone Man, Louis Tomlinson, James Arthur och Bastille i bagaget som namn han jobbat med så är det klart spännande att de vilket håll han själv går åt.
Resultatet heter Dopamine, som är en bra poplåt med tydlig R&B-produktion samt en refräng som gör det den ska – lyfter låten och lägger till en stark melodi till resultatet.
Om singeln berättar sångaren:
“It’s about the rush they give you when you’re around them and it’s set in the moment of when you’re heart is pounding and you’re about to tell them how you feel. It’s very special to me because it’s a true situation I was in and writing the song was almost like a kind of therapy. It gives me an emotion when I listen to it which is really my goal when creating music. If other people have gone through similar emotions I had, hopefully this could be a soundtrack to that moment for them as well.”
Dan kommer släppa fler låtar under året och planen är att släppa en hel EP nästa år.
