Galvanic är en 18-årig producent från Milwaukee. Han har bland annat fått till uppskattade singlar med bland annat senaste släppen Ghost och Only me.
På singeln Shouldn’t stay samarbetar han med sångerskan Meredith Brackbill. Resultatet blev en vemodig alternativ R&B-singel med läckert arrangemang och sång. Pianot är en extra snygg krydda tyckte jag.
Galvanic berättar:
”Meredith and I had a few projects we were working on before Shouldn’t Stay, all which are coming together really well. In the midst of working on them, she said she had recorded something new. She actually wrote the track a few months back, but never came around to recording the vocals. I listened to it, and right away knew that it was going to be something really huge. That same day I produced the majority of the track, and a few days later recorded the guitar.
I think one of the greatest things about working on Shouldn’t Stay was the connection and feeling behind it. The lyrics meant a lot to Meredith, and I could really tell when listening to her vocals. That really helped me get into the vibe with producing the track, and made it so easy.”
