As a songwriter, the events of the last 12 months have certainly given me plenty of reason to write music – to try to rationalise everything that happened and how it affects me and everyone around me. London is one of the the songs that came out of that process. It is a song about an immigrant, or truth be told, a song about any person that feels alienated. The overall message being ’there’s chaos in the world outside, but there’s hope in the ones you love.”
