Wait är debutsingeln med folk-popduon The Cedar Sisters. Duon består av Elle Hermansen och Jane Carmichael, som tillsammans skapar fina harmonier med sina röster tillsammans med modern folkmusik.
Här berättar gruppen om singeln Wait:
“Carrie Fisher once said, ‘Take your broken heart, make it into art.’ That has been the drive to write this song, among others. After being gifted a vintage autoharp a couple years ago from my parents for my birthday, I’ve mostly been inspired to write about love, longing and loss. It’s been cathartic to pen these experiences to hopefully help others who might be going through the same feelings. To be translucent about my situations has been the best therapy for me. For the record, I’m still good friends with my ex!”
