Viggo är en 19-årig popartist från New York som idag premiärspelar sin senaste singel Broken Love här i bloggen. Singeln är en elektronisk poplåt med bra driv som inspirerats av artister som Carly Rae Jepsen och Loreen . Singeln är första smakprovet från killens debutsingel som släpps senare i sommar.
Viggo berättar för bloggen.
”Being one of the most diverse cities in the world, NYC has something to offer everyone. And while there are many great cities in the world, I believe that NYC is it’s own entity – it’s hard to compare to the Big Apple. That’s exactly how I approach my music: diverse in sound and influences (so you’ll hear influences like Loreen and Carly Rae Jepsen), but it’s still clearly me. I like to make the music personal, yet relatable. You can hear this in my single Broken Love , where I lament over a love that could have been, but never was. Genre wise, the song lies somewhere in the electro-pop spectrum. It’s a moody track, and there are dark undertones that I put in the lyrics which shows the sadness of my unrequited love.”
