I wanted to capture that moment of feeling everything so deeply for the first time, when everything is new and exciting and you’re so convinced that it’s going to last forever. It’s a sonic snapshot of a previous relationship I once had. I wrote it on my acoustic guitar one night in my bedroom, and I knew I wanted the production to feel ambient, almost heavenly to reflect that euphoric feeling.”
